Network Security Administrator
The American College of Financial Services, located in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania is accepting applications for the position of Network Security Administrator within the Information Technology Department. As the Network Security Administrator, you will have the primary responsibility of developing, administering, and maintaining the organization’s Information Security Program and Incident Response Plan. This position will assist in the completion of time-sensitive business partner questionnaires/audits, providing feedback to management on improvements to existing policies and procedures. This position will provide essential duties related to the security of both on-premise and cloud-based software and infrastructure, working closely with other team members to validate and approve changes to existing network infrastructure. The Network Security Administrator will be actively engaged in the change management process providing both oversight and subject matter expertise on the setup and configuration of both on-premise and cloud-based systems and services. This position will provide technical expertise on the security of network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, web filters, data loss prevention (DLP), wireless, security information and event management (SIEM, telecommunication circuits, and network monitoring applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert on the security of both on-premise systems and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Office 365.
- Perform and/or respond to information technology assessments, penetration tests, and/or audits of organizational automated systems and processes, interpret results, and develop recommendations for improvement to management.
- Provide administration and oversight duties for the enterprise SIEM platform to help identify and alert on issues related to the security, performance, and integrity of the computing infrastructure.
- Create and respond to support tickets escalating them as needed for resolution.
- Provide oversight in the creation and approval process of change management requests.
- Experience with administration of Endpoint Security, Intrusion Detection Systems, Firewalls, Active Directory, Cloud Platforms including Office 365, Vulnerability/PCI Compliance Assessment tools.
- Knowledge of information security-related technologies and products (firewalls, IPSEC VPN, SSL VPN, Endpoint security, MDM, multi-factor authentication, etc.)
- Review and verify security patch processes to ensure critical patches are applied to systems properly and work with system owners to remediate.
- Assist in the implementation and enforcement of corporate-wide standards, policies, and procedures.
- Works closely with other members of the Network Operations Team on end-user support initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
- At least 2-5 years of experience in Information Security experience
- Experience in IT security standards frameworks – industry certifications are a plus
- Experience with IP networking, networking routing protocols and understanding of security-related technologies including encryption, IPsec, PKI, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, email, Active Directory, LDAP, and access-lists.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00 - $44.00 per hour
