- Work a 40-hour work week during regular business hours (i.e., between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, excluding State holidays). While unlikely, Consultant may occasionally be required to work more than the regular 40-hour work week and/or outside regular business hours to support the completion of critical project objectives.

The Consultant may be allowed to work remotely during enacted business continuity procedures, such as those implemented for the COVID-19 outbreak disaster emergency. The Consultant must be able to work on site , upon resumption of normal business operation, as directed .

BACKGROUND
The Consultant, together with the project team, will develop, configure, and maintain a Drupal CMS. The Consultant will provide production maintenance and support. The Consultant will also perform the same tasks during the Phase 2 website redesign project, which includes developing, and implementing a redesigned website which balances improved end-user engagement, usability, and customer satisfaction with strategic and operational priorities.
STATEMENT OF WORK
The Consultant shall assist with developing, implementing, and maintaining an Acquia/Drupal CMS and will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Configure the agency tenant Acquia/Drupal solution, including data, display, and information architecture;
- Deliver web solutions, including front-end User Interface (“UI”) and backend services;
- Select and implement custom modules as necessary;
- Work closely with project team members and stakeholders to ensure an effective, visually appealing and intuitive implementation;
- Build a responsive website that meets Americans with Disabilities Act (“ADA”) accessibility guidelines;
- Analyze functional requirements and develop technical requirements;
- Apply appropriate technology as a solution to the business problem;
- Assist other team members in the creation of design documents and other related system documentation, and review and approve final technical design;
- Assign development tasks to team members and assist as needed;
- Provide CMS coding specifications and standards, and validate code against those standards;
- Conduct code reviews and recommend changes;
- Conduct on-the-job training in PHP/CMS implementation for staff;
- Provide solution evaluation for new features, patches or bug fixes;
- Provide production maintenance and support, including troubleshooting;
- Provide knowledge transfer to staff; and
- Provide post-implementation maintenance and support.

Salary: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
