POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborates with local operations team in business units to formulate, refine, and operationalize initiative and tactics to ensure operational and financial success
- Leads the capital planning process to develop proformas and business plans around potential new growth opportunities
- Owns the relationships with Corporate and outside groups related to the Medicare Cost Report and taxation
- Works to develop efficiencies through the use of data, including automation of reports, creation of both financial and operational dashboards, etc.
- Work in Tandem with the Finance team to assist with month-end accounting duties and other projects as needed
- Assists with the development of hospital budgets
- Coaches front line business unit managers on operational finance principles
- Collaborates with business unit operational leaders to gather inputs, validate assumptions, and develop action plans for meeting targets
- Other duties as assigned.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting,
- 7 plus years of healthcare finance experience.

- Strong financial knowledge in accounting with an understanding of operations and major business drivers of financial performance.
