Data Engineer - ETL, ELT Scripts, SQL, AWS, S3, Kinesis, DMS, SNS, Glue, Athena, RDS, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Python/PySpark, Rest API, BI/Business Intelligence, QuickSIght, Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Terraform, Airflow, DBT, Harness
The Role
My client is looking for creative, passionate, practical people to join a growing team of like-minded individuals. Someone with a proven track record of building data pipelines to load data into data lakes and data warehouses running in the cloud. and someone with a strong desire to create best in class enterprise data solutions.
The role will involve the design, build, monitoring and managing of large scale batch and streaming data pipelines in an AWS cloud environment, coupled with data analysis and Datamodelling.
The Person
You will have experience in building complex data pipelines/ETL/ELT scripts, extensive experience with SQL, AWS and components such as S3, Kinesis, DMS, SNS, Glue, Athena, RDS, alongside experience with Data Warehouse databases like Snowflake/Redshift/BigQuery, Python/PySpark, experience with implementing Rest APIs and experience with using and integrating BI tools such as QuickSight, Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Business Intelligence (BI) knowledge/experience and knowledge on tools like Terraform, Airflow, DBT and Harness.
