Our Client is a financial firm that is seeking a senior Java Developer Consultant to help improve their existing Front office solutions. This is a contract opportunity that would start off remote, but transition into their Mid-Town West office.


Responsibilities:

  • Hands on Senior Java Developer with over 6 years of enterprise development experience.
  • As a senior developer on the project, the consultant will be responsible to maintenance of XVA Pricing Tools and communicate with Strats and XVA traders.
  • Perform SDLC oversight for a project being developed by multiple teams.
  • Conduct Code Reviews and Document Changes necessary to support business.

Skills:
  • Experience Java Developer (JDK 8 or 11)
  • Apache Camel (Version 2 and 3)
  • REST API (including Enterprise Authentication and Authentication)
  • Enterprise services (including monitoring, state management)
  • Spring (including Spring Boot and Spring Boot Actuator)
  • JMS
  • MS SQL Server

Plus:
  • Experience with Capital Markets and understanding how Derivatives instruments are valued.
  • Murex Pricing API
  • Plus: Python.
