Mainframe Developer

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain mainframe applications and systems according to project requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document mainframe programs using programming languages such as COBOL, PL/I, or Assembler.
- Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure smooth operations and minimal downtime.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of mainframe applications to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a mainframe developer, including hands-on experience with programming languages such as COBOL, PL/I, or Assembler.
- Strong knowledge of mainframe technologies and tools, such as IBM z/OS, JCL, CICS, IMS, or DB2.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving production issues in a mainframe environment.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques for mainframe applications.
