POSITION SUMMARY

The York Casket Company, A Matthews International subsidiary, is seeking 3rd Shift Machine Operators (9:00PM-5:30AM) for our Production Facility in York, PA for our Memorialization business segment. We are looking for great people to help us process and build industry leading wood caskets. We take pride in providing a quality product to families during their most difficult time and need energetic people to join our team.

• Lots of advancement opportunities including supervision and management.
• You will be working with production supervisors and operating various hand and power tools and/or operating equipment to meet production schedules.
• Ensuring parts and assemblies meet production specifications.
• Performing end of shift cleaning and maintenance on equipment.
• You will have the opportunity to cross training in other departments and equipment.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
• Attention to detail and ability to read production documents
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.
