Venturi, LLC, is seeking a full time Document Control Specialist (DCS) The DCS actively provides assistance and attention to the demands of maintenance personnel. This position supports facility operations and maintenance services for a U.S. Government customer at multiple buildings located at the Bannock County, Idaho site. The Government requires the support services to augment the technical and administrative staff of the site. The entire site consists of nine buildings totaling approximately 266,000 usable square feet (sf), which is comprised of general offices, data centers (DCs), visitor screening facility (VSF), a mail screening facility (MSF), and grounds of the approximate 17 acre site. The Tier III Data Center is in operation 365 days per year (366 in a leap year), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, regardless of weather conditions or other events that would usually close local businesses or schools. The core working hours on site are 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time, Monday (M) – Friday (F) with coverage for all shifts and weekends to support the 24 x 7 x 365 requirements. All personnel are considered emergency essential as the operations of the Data Center must be maintained at all times.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Responsible for maintaining project documentation files consisting of technical data, engineering and supplier drawings, technical specifications, purchase orders, and other project-required documents.
- Updates and maintains a project document control record keeping system.
- Prepares transmittals and distributes data as directed. Interfaces with maintenance personnel for required document production or reproduction associated with copy and distribution requirements.
- Performs routine assignments regarding document storage, production, and record keeping regarding maintenance files.
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)- Requires a high school diploma or GED
- Possesses a minimum of two (2) years of experience in document control and configuration management.
- Provides assistance and attention to the demands of maintenance personnel
- Experience with large scale facility maintenance and operations, to include Tier III Data Center Operations, is preferred.
- U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Knowledge of document control systems.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to integrate the proposed solutions with the Government’s existing systems and future procedures, systems, tools and hardware/software environment.
- Competence to optimize system maintenance for performance and minimize downtime.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changes in the Government’s business and technical requirements.
- Ability to effectively interface with the Government’s internal support staff.
- Ability to be responsive to customer support systems.
- Access to consultation and technology integration skills to augment the Government’s internal capabilities as necessary.
- Ability to provide O&M services for building systems including mechanical and electrical systems, subsystems and support infrastructure on a 24 x 7 x 365 basis, regardless of environmental conditions. This shall include supervisory and technician staff capable of operating, maintaining, and repairing the facility systems and addressing any emergency conditions on an immediate basis.
- Prefer familiarity with the Tririga Facility Integration Tool.
