BUSY AUCTION HOUSE SEEKING EXPERIENCED WAREHOUSE/OPERATIONS MANAGER Auction House in Chadds Ford looking to hire a warehouse/operations manager to help organize, manage, and develop new systems to handle incoming consignments, property, and logistics within the auction showroom and warehouse. You are responsible for the safe and efficient movement of all items flowing through the loading dock, warehouse, photo areas, and showroom: unloading, unpacking, and receiving incoming consignments, setting up and breaking down auctions, assisting clients with the packing and removal of purchases. The ability to prioritize and multitask within a fast-paced environment is a must. You will effectively work with other staff members to develop and maintain orderly storage and recordkeeping procedures from intake through the entire cataloging and sale process to reconciliation of consignor accounts. Capable of lifting 75+ lbs. Upkeep of vehicle and building maintenance. Familiarity with online auctions is a plus. The qualified and successful candidate will have 10-plus year’s market experience in antiques, collectibles, and fine art. Proficiency in google sheets/Word/Excel is required.
